This 5-year-old Chow Chow suddenly had seizures worrying the owner as she never had this problem before. She had chronic skin infections and entropion since young.

Hypoglycaemia was the cause of the fits. The skin infections weref not sent to the vet for treatment.

Follow up 3 weeks later You can see from the video that the Chow Chow looks good. No more scales and eye discharge. Eye drops were given daily as the owner did not want entropion treatment nor spaying…

Follow up 3 months later after treatment for ringworm, skin infections and change to a hypoallergenic Z/D diet.

The Chow Chow has been well cared for and her skin is normal. Chows are high maintenance dogs and need prompt veterinary care if it has skin diseases.
